2015 Commemorative Poster - "Main Street Stroll"

$20.00

Will Armstrong, from Richmond, Virginia, was selected to create this year’s beautiful commemorative poster, “Main Street Stroll,” a whimsical perspective of Main Street looking towards the Tarrant County Courthouse.

Will shares his thoughts: "Thanks again for this opportunity. I tried to capture the feel of everything I love about Fort Worth and the Festival. The trio of musicians represent the different kinds of Texas music I respond to: the singer songwriter aspect of Townes Van Zandt, the country and swing of Bob Wills and the rock and roll of Buddy Holly.

"There is a romance to the couple. Are they walking to the courthouse to get married... or simply leaving the show?

"The sheet music that I used behind the building is all specific to Texas. There are a a few other nods to me and my experiences as well.  This has been a labor of love for me as I have created this perspective of an incredible city and community!"

This beautiful, unframed poster (signed or unsigned), is printed on Astrolite Silk 80# cover paper stock from Monadnock and hybrid inks by Cockrell Enovation. The poster was designed by Pinkerton Design. Poster will be available for shipment March 20, 2015 and will come rolled in a sturdy packing tube.
